Avenue St Co is a creative production company and talent agency founded by CEO Jermaine Thomas, also known as Ave MacArthur, a visionary creator from Oakland, California. We specialize in photography, documentary filmmaking, and the development of bold, authentic stories that celebrate culture, creativity, and individuality.
Rooted in the mission to push Black artistry and representation forward, Avenue St Co is expanding into reality and scripted television, with original productions like Butch Queen University leading the way. As part of this growth, we’re launching our own television streaming network — a platform dedicated to diverse voices and groundbreaking entertainment.
Beyond production, Avenue St Co operates as a talent agency, representing musical acts and creative talent — including our own Ave MacArthur. We provide artist management, brand development, and entertainment consulting services to help artists and media personalities thrive in today’s competitive industry.

Our Story
Avenue St Co was founded by CEO Jermaine Thomas, also known as Ave MacArthur, a proud native of Oakland, California. Inspired by the rich creativity and cultural influence of his community, Jermaine recognized a clear gap in representation — a lack of Black-owned production companies within the broader world of secular entertainment.
From that vision, Avenue St Co was born — a company built to push culture forward, amplify Black creativity, and tell authentic stories that reflect the depth and diversity of our experiences.
What began as a passion for photography and documentary filmmaking has evolved into a growing force in reality and scripted television. Through our original productions and the launch of our own television streaming network, Avenue St Co is committed to creating space for new voices, fresh perspectives, and unapologetically bold storytelling.
